What it does, and what it doesn't
Allergy Ledger is a records and reminders tool. It helps schools keep accurate allergy records, track adrenaline devices and their expiry dates, record training and incidents, and follow their own procedures. It does not give medical advice, and emergency steps shown in the app are reproduced from official UK government guidance.
How we write our guides
- Every guide is checked against the law and the DfE statutory guidance, and links to the official sources
- We say clearly what is law, what is guidance and what is only planned
- Every guide shows the date it was last reviewed, and we update guides when the law or guidance changes
- Our guides are free to read and share, whether or not your school uses Allergy Ledger
